Well after taking
Billy Bob's spearfishing 101 class I was invited
to the lab portion yesterday. Billy Bob, Bill
Endifinger, James and I hit some private spots
to the West..............
And scored!, five snapper, three Amberjacks,
one Grouper, one Black Snapper/Cubera (Both
listed on the Basic Saltwater Fishing Regs..will
be researching this ...) 9 triggers and two
pogies.

Gulf
The water is warming up nicely and visibility
is getting better. Snapper are aboundant
as are Grouper, Amberjack, Sheepshead and
Trigger Fish. Inshore is reported being
20-60 feet and offshore in the 60-90+ foot
range.
Beach
Water temperature is 74 degrees. Not to shabby. It as been a bit rough the past
few weeks and the visibility off the beach
as not been real good. If we could get some
calm weather the beach diving will get a good
bit better.
Springs/Caves
Usually always clear unless there is back
flow and the temp is always 68-70 degrees
year round.
A quick disclaimer: Conditions
are from personal observation and as reported
by divers visiting the the area.. Conditions
can change from day to day. The conditions
we report may not necessarily be the conditions
you find.
